CREATE AN ACCOUNT

An online shopping account offers you a safe, easy, and fast way to order. It also makes it easier for you to track your order and receive emails about your order status.

How do I create an online account?

You can create an online account in one of two ways:

  • Click on the "My Account" link located on the top of each page and sign in under the "New Customers" section.
  • Enter your email address and password on the "Thank You For Your Order" page during Checkout when you place an order.

Note: Your Shopping Account, your Baby Registry Account and your Wish List Account are three separate accounts.

Shopping Account Benefits

Here are some of the benefits of having an online account with Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us:

  • Order Status - Receive important information regarding the status of your order, and track your order up to the moment it arrives.
  • Faster Checkout - Your billing and shipping information will be readily available to make quick purchases.
  • Gift card balance - you can quickly view the balance on your Gift Card.

Manage your Account

You can change your account information online at any time. Simply click "My Account" at the top of any page and sign in with your email address and password.

Forgot your Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can get a new one by clicking here.

Changing Your Password

To change the password associated with your account, click on the "My Account" link that is located on the top of each page. Sign in to your account and click on the "(update)" link next to Password under the "Personal Information" header. You will be brought to a page where you can change your password.

Changing Your Email Address

To change the email address associated with your account:

  1. Click on the "My Account" link located on the top of each page.
  2. Sign in to your account (using your current email address) and click on the "(update)" link next to your email address under the Personal Information header. You will be brought to a page where you can make changes to your email address.

Shipping & Billing Addresses

Within Your Account we store your shipping and billing addresses under the Account Features heading. We store these addresses to make the checkout process easier and reduce the amount of information you need to enter.

Email Preference Centre

The Toys"R"Us/Babies"R"Us Email Preference Centre delivers all you need to know about our products, sales and more right into your inbox!

When you sign up you'll be among the first to get news about:

  1. The coolest new toys and products
  2. Promotions and sales
  3. And more!

You'll also be able to narrow down the notifications you'd like to receive on:

  1. Toys for Girls
  2. Toys for Boys
  3. Video Games
  4. Weekly Flyer
  5. Safety and Recall Notices
  6. In-store Events

It's easy and fast to set up your preferences. Just sign up online and click your way through the creation process.

Creating or Updating your Preferences

  1. Start on My Account on the Home Page
  2. Fill in all necessary information on the registry form. Some fields such as First and Last Name are required, and others like home and cell phone numbers are optional
  3. You can also fill out your Email Preferences including:
    • Updates you'd like to receive from Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us
    • Communications related to safety and recall notices
    • To select your preferred email format choose HTML or Text. Once you have filled out all of your information, simply click the "Submit" button to save your preferences
  4. Once you click submit, you'll be taken to a page where you'll have the option to edit any of your preferences by selecting the "Click here to edit your preferences" link. On this page you can also choose to explore our other programs or shop online.
  5. You'll receive an email with your basic sign-up information and password shortly after completion. Please save that email for future reference
  6. To go back and update your personal information after sign in, log onto your preference centre. Then just click on the "Update" link next to the information you'd like to change. You will then be taken to a page where you can update your personal information. We will put your changes into effect as soon as possible
  7. To change your preferences after you've signed up, sign into your preference centre. Then update your preferences and click the "Save Changes" button to save your updates. To cancel click the "Cancel" button

Can I define my preferences in a store or over the phone?

At this time, you can only make or create email preferences online, not in store.

How do I know my preferences have been saved?

Shortly after you submit your email preferences, you will receive a confirmation email with your basic sign-up information and password verifying that your preferences have been set.

If you choose to modify your preferences after signing up, you can:

  1. Log on to your centre
  2. Update or change your preferences
  3. Click the "Save Changes" button to finalize your changes

We will update your preference centre and put your changes into effect as soon as possible.

How soon will my preferences and updates go into effect?

Once you have submitted or changed your personal information and preferences, we will update your preference centre and put your requests into effect as soon as possible. You will also receive an email confirming any changes or updates to your preference centre.

Why do I have to type my password in twice?

Creating a password keeps your information private and secure. You are required to type your password in twice to ensure that you haven't mistyped your password.

You can logon anytime with your email address and password to access or change your personal information or preferences.

Can I be removed from Toys"R"Us/Babies"R"Us mailing lists?

To stop receiving email communications, simply delete your preferences from your email preference centre or click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our communications. You may also contact our Customer Service Team.

Please note that opting out of receiving emails could prevent you from receiving emails related to your Baby Registry and/or Wish List, if applicable.

Will my contact information be shared with other companies?

Toys"R"Us will not license, sell or provide your personal information to any unaffiliated third party except as permitted by the "R"Us Family Privacy Policy or with your consent.

How long will my preferences remain active?

It's really up to you! Your email preference centre will remain active as long as you choose to keep it or until you decide to delete your preferences or unsubscribe from our communications.

How often will I receive Toys"R"Us or Babies"R"Us emails?

This will vary based on the preferences you have selected.
