We took it apart but could not fix it. Cheap plastic parts broke easily and the water would not pump through. The kids were so happy to receive the gift they opened them right away to try out. The water gun is well assembled. Once, the pressure is built in the watergun, the water stream does go very far. My child likes to use it to water my flowers from a distance.
