It always takes a couple tries to get his leg moving and kicking the way his other guy does. However, I would assume its ours thats defective as we do have a different guy with the same function that works every time. The pull back arm action is reminiscent of days of old when countless action figures had those similar actions. The product, like all other Mattel, specifically the WWE figures we have bought is very good quality. It can easily withstand the test of toddlers to adults, pulling back and watching him haul off and cold cock either another figure, or the included punching dummy, is priceless. I suspect this figure will remain a favorite for a good long time. No longer are electronics needed to make toys &quot;cool&quot;, sometimes simply going back to the tried and tested works just fine. The sign is kind of hard to break apart though. The figure is really well made and realistic. My son really loves playing with it.
