They are all very vibrant in color, which grab kids attention right away (as you can see from picture, the toys in the background are all from Vtech). We got opportunity to test this Vtech Cutie Paw puppy carrier. My daughter fell in love with it right away and took no time to warm up to it. The Puppy Carrier comes with an adorable plush puppy, screaming &ldquo;play with me&rdquo;, I like the ears are able to stand up. It&rsquo;s made of a mix of different texture fabrics, makes it a good sensory toy. The &ldquo;portable water bowl&rdquo; is also a standalone rattle toy with colorful beads in the handle. Puppy comb, dog biscuits and frisbee can all be stored on the puppy carrier itself on the back side. There are designated spots for them with their shape outlined, it could serve as puzzle to help toddlers developing their hand eye coordination, problem solving and cognitive skill. There are also unlimited ways to pretend play with this toy. On the front side, there are digital number, color and shape buttons that interacts and light up. 2 ways to use these buttons, one plays music and entertains, the other mode teaches colors, numbers and shapes. It has phrases like &ldquo;going fetch buddy&rdquo;, &ldquo;let&rsquo;s play catch&rdquo;, &ldquo;time for a little grooming&rdquo;, &ldquo;do you need a drink of water&rdquo;, kids can learn to care for animals with this toy. The sound quality is great like all other Vtech toys. Two different sound volumn to choose from. There is also a dog waste bag &ldquo;clipped&rdquo; onto the carrier, with a &ldquo;bag&rdquo; (a fixed piece of crinkly fabric) sticking out- another great sensory toy. I love the fact all loose accessories have their own storage spaces. The top handle allows toddlers to carry it with them everywhere easily. All components are rounded and non choking sized, safe for toddlers to play with. The only complaint is the blue #5 button, it turns yellow when lit up, unlike other buttons stays the same color when lit.
