I have a now 6 months old and he does love playing with the toy. I think it was marketed for 3 mo + but he didn't really start engaging with it until now. He's able to push the light button now whereas he wasn't able to do that on his own until now. He loves chewing the ears. He's &quot;thrown&quot; it a few times and it holds up. I kind of wish it was all soft sided so he could chew on it more as that's the phase he's in now. We've been using it for a couple months, not hard core, but enough and the battery has lasted. First and foremost, VTech is this Mama's absolute favorite toy brand for my kids! They just know exactly what keeps our kids entertained, no matter there age! This elephant is just the cutest! It has soft arms and legs and crinkly ears perfect for developing little brains! It is the perfect toy to bring into the car, not to mention the convenience of the velcro strap to hang on car seats or strollers! When you shake the elephant, it has little colorful beads that sound like a rattle. Perfect to keep your baby occupied and entertained! The belly has a heart that lights up when pressed. It sings, I believe, 3 songs and makes cute statements and facts. Such a simple toy that can keep my kiddo occupied and busy for a while, all while stimulating her little mind!
