I tried to order the required Harvester Ants from the website noted on the box, well it was very disappointing as the website would only ship in U.S. I reached out to Toys R Us, was given 2 website links. One was how to capture queen ant and harvest your own, how does Toys R Us expect children to know or comprehend how to do this?? Second website link, again same problem, it was only US ants and stated outside of U.S. to find ants another way. Well this product calls for Harvester Ants. They are not. The ants come separately. The paper inside the box says it will shop the ants for no charge but it only ships in the US. So basically this is worthless unless you are in the US or you are willing to pay extra to get whatever ants are needed for this. Was not able to check reviews. On drive home he tore box open and had setup done within minutes of getting home. Then wanted me to order ants. This is where you discover just like everyone else you cannot buy ants in Canada. Ok so technically not true - after 1 hour of online searching I can get 25 harvester ants from the US for $90 USD. In Canada I can buy a different system and purchase a Queen and then maybe in a year have enough ants to populate my sons $15 Ant Farm. Cannot return of course as box in pieces and farm completely set up. The included ants are not available in Canada, only the United States, and it has so far proven difficult to find somewhere that does sell them. Super disappointing.
