A 7 year old was able to figure out how to transform it just fine, although it might be mire suitable for a younger child. The quality isn't the highest but it has remained intact without any parts breaking. The legs don't move for walking and the guns don't shoot. Only the hands can swing back and forth. Overall a good toy.</span>

The knees and elbows do not bend - so if you are looking for the sophistication of the original transformers, then you will be disappointed. There’s no wheels to make the tank move either.
That being said, younger kids should enjoy this as a toy. It looks safe, and can be a great intro into the world of transformers.</span>
