<span itemprop="description">These new engines don't work with the original trackmaster sets. The engines are too low and get stuck on all of the points and station pieces. Unless you run the trains in a continuous loop with no junctions then it is not compatible as suggested. The engines themselves are great but they should not be advertised as backwards compatible.</span>
