We had a different car for our daughter with the storage in the front and it was much better. the storage in the seat is a pain and the seatbelt gets stuck in it all the time. You have to always open the storage to get the seat belt out and hope you notice it before you put your child in the car first. I purchased it for my granddaughter at 10 months old. She should be able to use it for a little while. The only suggestion I would make, as it would be nice if the bottom was able to be removed as well as the handle and the child could use it as a play car as a grill by using their feet to push.
