It ended being used as a toy. But since it's small I would suggest not using it as a toy around children that might try to chew on it. The darth vader itself is probably only 2 inches itself. However; if using it as a toy it's great. It opens from the top and the wings pop out. This could be a collectable but my son is obsessed with Star Wars so we let him play with it. It comes with a Galaxy Squadron (Tie Advanced) and a mini Darth Vader. There are a few sections of the Tie Advanced that open, one being the top where Darth Vader sits. It also opens from the middle and the wings pop off. My son plays with this and his imagination runs wild. The Darth Vader that cones with it is extremely tiny so not meant for kids that are oral and out toys in their mouth. Definitely pay attention to age on this. Overall my 11 year old enjoys playing with it.
