My daughter loves that doll can ride on the horse which she plays with for hours. I love that the doll is a person of color. Children need to see more diverse characters in their play and daily lives. The details in the doll's clothes are beautiful. They liked how the horse had a holder for the doll to stay up on. There were a lot of accessories which they loved. They played with two different sets together. They were interchangeable between the sets which was great for mixing and matching. The horse is very nice, and has a great mane for styling. The doll is nicely articulated, and the horse itself does have a slightly moveable head. Only issues are that the stirrups are facing the wrong way so we can't get the doll's feet to sit in them, and the tail is molded plastic instead of hair. My daughter is six and loves horses in addition to the show. We also have the lucky horse and doll. These dolls are very well made and hold their position when blended. There is a plastic waist piece that allows the doll to stay on while being played with! She&rsquo;s a huge spirit and Lucky fan. She did have one complaint and that was that Peru&rsquo;s hat would not stay on her head no matter what position she tried. It just kept popping off.
