The footrests are located in a place so that they will never work for a toddler. I bought this as I thought it would be higher quality than other trikes but all the extras on it do not stay on( sun visor and hand rest). The front wheel fell off as I was carrying the bike down steps. I've only had the trike for a month and half and already the canopy doesn't stay on properly anymore. The tires are super cheap plastic and starting to wear after only a 1.5 months. By how quickly it's falling apart, I don't think it'll make it to stage 3 or 4. I knew it would be a hit. It was super quick to put together and I am impressed with the ease of manoeuvering. My sone especially likes playing with the phone feature. The storage is great and the little cover is ideal for those sunny or rainy days. Here it is, WE LOVE IT! My 10 month old daughter absolutely loves it. She is nothing but smiles every time we go for walks. The quality and look of this item is amazing. I call it the Cadillac of trikes. We have the black and taupe combination. It is super easy to use. Took a total of two minutes to learn all of the different stages and how to get to each one. Currently we are in the beginning stage. It is very comfortable and supportive for my little one. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. Storage basket (great size) and handle bag are a bonus and so useful to carry little ones belongings and small grocery trips. The shade canopy is a nice size, and protects little ones upper body from the sun. The little cell phone attached to the front near the cup holder are great little additions. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a little one who enjoys going for walks especially if they dislike their stroller. We are a busy family with 3 boys, this trike has been great for our youngest to feel like he is keeping up with his older brothers. I love how it is flexible for his many changing stages!!!
