The ink stays on longer when exposed to the elements bc it is oil based, not water based. The colors were true to display, I am only giving 4 stars because I think pink should be included. If you enjoy doing crafts as much as I do, you will love these! I love the fact that these markers come in the regular package, but they also have each marker wrapped in plastic too. They are a medium tip that makes it pretty easy to draw somewhat skinny lines and a little bit thicker ones too.
