The light up eyes and the music made it so fun for them. The pocket on the back seemed like an afterthought it wasnt lined and had one small button, I was expecting a zipper across the top. The functionality of the purse itself is a little low but for their age group up to about 6 they only want to put one or two things in there so its just great for them. When the package arrived, my 5 year old granddaughter was with me &amp; we tore it open. She was really excited that she now could carry a purse just like her mom &amp; grandma. Everytime we head out somewhere I have to wait until she gets her purse. First of all it's very small which may be better for older kids but 5 year olds want to put everything in their purse. It was cool that it makes sounds and music but it's a bit tricky for her to get it to work and she got bored of it. The purse itself is super cute and the strap length is great.
