The accessories actually fit in the dolls hands but with that being said they are small pieces so would not recommend if you are not ok with alot of small pieces. This set did keep my daughter interested as the set is pretty realistic. The prices are pretty sturdy so that is good. I would definantly recommend this for a 7 or 8 year old.</span>
