Its not too noisy, you have to manually set it to ve able to fire it and when you do the barrel rotates. It holds 6 nerf bullets at a time. This comes with 16. It shoots pretty far. My 7 year old received this nerf gun for Christmas. This was the top thing on his list and is now one of his favorite nerf guns! The electric charging sounds it makes are really cool and it shoots really fast! Its really easy to shoot since it is a blaster nerf gun but it is a little big. My 5 year old can shoot it but she has a little trouble holding it comfortably since its a little big for her.</span>
