The blasters are easy to hold, sized to fit comfortably in small hands and lightweight for easy carrying. The front-loading design makes inserting darts a simple step. Blasting is easy, with handles that have the lowest pull force of any Nerf darts blasters. All these features let kids get into lots of fast-moving action in indoor and outdoor games, and they can show off their blasting skills as they do each step on their own! <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son who is five often struggles pulling the mechanism back on the other dart guns, but this range is perfect for them as the mechanism is much easier to pull - but then the darts fly more slowly.
If you view these as Nerf guns for young children they're great, but for older children all the benefits will be issues. This particular model has one major issue, as explained in the cons
Pros:
- Easy to pull back and load the darts
- Darts fire more slowly so they're safer with younger children
- Younger son likes the bright clashing colours
Cons:
- these guns can fire 4 darts in sequence, but due to the way they work the fourth dart often barely comes out of the gun. It seems that the first dart has a good speed for younger children, then the second slightly less, and the third and fourth can be noticeably slower</span>
