The packaging screams luxe doll and the outfits and accessories do not disappoint. My daughter prefers this doll to all her other barbie sized dolls and asks to sleep with it nightly. I feel like the outfits, hair and accessories are a bit nicer because it is a limited edition doll. It just feel extra special. The packaging for this doll is great quality with heavy plastic that does not break easily. The packaging is perfect for displaying the doll as-is and seems to be a collectible type of doll with it's &quot;certificate of authenticity&quot; and high quality packaging. To open this doll for my daughter, I used a small pair of sewing scissors which is perfect for these small plastic pieces. From opening the box to fully removing the doll took me about 20-25 minutes and I chose to keep the packaging so did not rip or break pieces to remove the doll from it. Plan on opening this doll accordingly because it's a process! It would probably take about 15 minutes to remove the doll by cutting the plastic pieces instead of detaching them without breaking them. After removal of the doll, I was able to easily locate the stand accessories and put them together. Draculaura is wearing her full ensemble so is ready to play with right out of the box! She includes platform boots, a belt, tiara, necklace, earrings dress with large cape and her hair is styled nicely. The hair is black with pink and glitter steaks throughout and straight! Very easy to keep straight and not messy, does not include a brush though. The doll is articulated and can hold various poses without the stand and even more with the stand. The stand is made of sturdy plastic and will last a long time. The doll itself seems to be good quality but there's a possibility that kids will lose body parts if they choose to undress and dress this doll. I think this is something I will have to teach my 6 year old daughter to do when I have additional clothes to go with this Monster High doll. She was thrilled with her new doll and touched her hair a lot! She was eager to use the doll with the companion vehicle for this doll and played with both together. Draculaura doesn't come with any additional accessories besides her stand and certificate of authenticity. Very easy to understand and ready for play so as a parent I appreciate this. Thanks Mattel for another amazing doll for my daughter to use her imagination with!
