The portal aspect is really cool and fun to try to collect. The creeper is well liked and is cool because of the movable limbs. The legs are moveable for play as well as a swiveling head. This provides a more interactive and sustaining experience. He likes to mix this toy with his Minecraft figurines but prefers this one due to the moveable parts. This is a great toy since he loves Minecraft and enjoys being able to physically manipulate the creeper. It also allows him to interact with the obsidian and gun powder which come with it. He wants to collect the rest of the set for more interactive play by creating a nether portal. He quickly tore open the box to see what it was. He was excited and said it was &ldquo;really cool&rdquo; but lost interest quickly. He asked me if we could get more. My kids lost interest after about 3 minutes. They thought the picture of the combined figures on the back of the box looked pretty cool, but said without all of the figures it was pretty boring. He was super excited to get this to play with and his excitement deflated when he realized there was no play features to it outside of building a portal with additional purchase items. He said it was okay and that it must be a collector item that you see but can&rsquo;t play with. So as long as you don&rsquo;t expect to try and play with the little guy and just display them and collect them all, them I would say to get. It does have moveable legs though. I was disappointed that you need to buy all the other figurines to build the portal.
