The assembly directions don&rsquo;t help remedy this situation. But this cart was a disappointment. The rubber band on the wheel keeps coming off and is very difficult to put back on. I sometimes can't even find where it went. My daughter gets frustrated when the rubber gets stuck and the wheel doesn't move. She loves to push the cart (and sit in it) and the food pieces fit in her hands so well. she carries them around all over the place. I did add some Velcro dots to the pieces and the 2 boards so they stay in place and that was super helpful!! It is a great toy , we love everything about it. BUT our one year old put the pieces in his mouth, and almost gagged on me the circular shape. But it's really short and not very big. This is great for a kiddo who is just learning to walk, but otherwise I don't know if I'd buy it.
