Its a great bonding experience for us. He has always loved to build things with legos but has never done something like this before. Anything to do with cars he always gets excited. This car is something that he will keep for many years. The size &amp; the moving parts (doors,steering wheel, hood) makes it feel like a real car. He is now definitely hooked on lego model cars now! As far as anything negative we really dont have anything bad to say. Great lego build &amp; easy enough instructions to follow by. We found that for both children and adults the pieces can be somewhat hard to put get together. There seems to be a technique to putting the pieces together; once figured out, it came together beautifully. Overall the Aston Martin looks amazing when fully assembled... So much so that I want to put it on display... But alas, the kids want to take it apart to reassemble it again. Who can blame them, it's that awesome. Assembled model looks awesome and it comes with Hot Wheels diecast model of the exact same car. Block model is very detailed and presents well no the shelf among other models. Even the green pearl body color looks very natural. It is rated 10+ but in my opinion 10 years old kid will have troubles assembling this model. There is significant amount of force required to properly click bigger blocks so adult's supervision may be required. I am not sure if this is manufacturing accuracy problem or just the behavior of given type of plastic This was our first MEGA block model and it took us a while to get used to their instructions - the way assembly steps are presented is slightly different from other leading brands and we needed to adjust the way of thinking. It&rsquo;s been taking my 10 year old several days to put together, though! He has to take breaks because some of the pieces frustrate him by not clicking together easily. We&rsquo;re still working on putting it together and he absolutely loves it, it is just not his typical quick build. The instructions are accurate and clear. The car will be beautiful when completed, which it is very close to being completed now! He&rsquo;s really excited and has been pointing them out now on the road.
