He especially likes that Monstroid's head spins. The instructions were a bit tricky for him, but he LOVES this set and immediately added more of the MEGA Construx sets to his birthday list. He really likes that the figures are moveable/poseable, more so than some similar items from other manufacturers. He liked being able to pose their legs and arms as he played with the set. Brings back memories from when I was a kid watching epidsodes of He-Man and She-Ra. Nice to see that the Masters on the Universe / Princess of Power frachsises are coming back and coming back strong. New apparel, paper products, streaming videos, and toysets! My two girls are watching the She Ra and He Man reboots and have enjoyed the retelling in a more modern way. They love the sets as they can connect them to the shows and mix them often with other sets. They do have one big issue though that they tell me about all the time and its the durability of the figures themselves. They often fall apart on quick movements or pose play. My 7 year old is a fan of the new She-Ra but I remember the old HeMan cartoon my brother was obsessed with when we were kids. This definitely taps into the nostalgia as well as rocking the new remake. I dig that the blocks fit the other major building toys so its a great way to mix and match sets. It was something that we did together, but I think my 7 year old could have done on their own. The only tricky bit was getting the clothes snapped on the bodies. It took us several tries to get that together. He loves action figures. He did have a bit of a challenge building it, so his older brother helped him. Once the crab was complete, it was challenging to keep it standing and every time you went to move a leg, it would break and you would have to reconnect it.
