My six year old and I sat down right away and starting working on building the car. Right away we noticed that the bricks were good quality and sturdy. I found the instructions to be very clear in the printed booklet. The QR code included in the booklet did not work at the time we tried to scan. Had the QR code worked, that would have been a very helpful feature as well. Then we could have both of us looking at a manual. The colors are vibrant and once assembled, the car has stayed intact. So it&rsquo;s very durable and can withstand hours of play once you put the car together. Our only complaint would be that the bricks were pretty hard to snap together for my son. The recommended age is 5+ but there were times I even struggled putting the bricks together as an adult. They are very similar to the other popular brick toys but we feel that they were more difficult than those we had played with before. If purchasing for a child around 5-7 years of age, just be prepared to help them get some of the pieces to fit together. Overall we had a great time completing this building set, and my child has enjoyed playing with the car since its has been completed. This is a perfect toy for any fans of other bricks and building toys, as well as Hot Wheels fans! My daughter (8) was able to do 95% of it herself, she just needed a little extra uscle to get some of the pieces together. She really enjoyed the end resut and loved that it was a representative figure, rather than just a plain white one. That was OK, because I looked up the book online. What was disappointing was that there were missing pieces, so my son could not put the entire car together. Thankfully, he has a great imaginary and made sue with what he had. Easy to put together and my daughter had a fun time with it. After it was completed I tried smashing it with a hammer but it didn't come apart. I realized later that my daughter played a trick on me and had put super glue on each piece.
