It's ages 3+ and I think it works well for my soon to be 5 year old (but would be too young for my 8 year old). While it's made out of plastic, it doesn't seem to be cheaply made - seems sturdy enough to withstand a toddler playing roughly with it. I like it's size and I think it'll be fun for my kid to play with along with his other character toys.</span>
