Hands and feet are made of a softer plastic than the rest of the figure. Poses easily. Figure is semi-translucent, meant to simulate the look of ice. He could have done with some dry brushed paint to better add to that effect but he doesn't look bad. There's a lot of good detail on him that could have otherwise been shown off with better paint. He also could really use an ice blast accessory of some sort. Overall, he looks pretty cool. This might be the best Iceman figure to date, however it wins that title by default and not by its own merit. To begin, it was beautifully designed and engineered from sculpt down to the plastic use. It's sort of transparent blue or white in different light and really captures the aesthetics of ice/frost. It probably could have been less blue, but then he's look too transparent so I'm glad they went with this. Now, on to all the bads... the figure is gummy and has trouble standing. While that may not be a problem for me since I plan to put him in bad arsse crouching ice dispensing poses, the reality is he's a self diver. And when you have other figures around him, he then becomes a self diving kamikaze piece OS. So be warned! Other criticisms include the sculpt of the figure. He's not a traditional Iceman sculpt, he's some hipster modern pretentious design. It would have been great if he had just came with a normal classic head. But then Hasbro wouldn't be able to sell us another Iceman in the future. The head also sits too high on the neck peg giving him giraffe-itis. But there's actually a practical benefit to it as you can put him in a crouching pose better, maybe Hasbro knew he was a self diver and did this on purpose?! Hmm the conspiracy. Lastly, he comes with no real accessory. While it would have been amazing if he came with an ice slide, some sort of ice projectile would have been great.
