My son is a huge pokemon fan, and we have lots of merchandise already, ranging from plushies, to games, to pokemon cards. This set is a welcome addition to the ones we already own. It didn't take too long to put together and once it was completely built my son had tonnes of fun playing with it. Sometimes building sets can be a bit too complicated and long winded so he loses interest but this is the perfect size. He is 9 and was able to follow the instructions and do most of it by himself. He loves Pokemon and he loved this set.
