When you open the box, you get a ball of fluff that you put in warm water and add soap to reveal which animal you got. The dye from the animals did bleed, so make sure to do this in a large bin or sink and roll up long sleeves. After a good wash, we left our animals to air dry for a little. After they air dried for an hour, I took a hair dryer and a baby brush to their fur to get them dry and fluffy. The heart on the baby's tummy color changes to tell you if it's a boy or a girl. This is a fun toy but takes some time to finally be able to play with.</span>
