The S-foil play function is satisfying, and I'm thrilled to see a new ARC-170 on shelves. However, the print and sticker quality is awful. The print quality of the 3x3 circular tiles on each smaller wing is awful. The advertised dark red is much closer to brown. The stickers are where the set truly goes wrong. The republic logos as well as the body stickers are fine, however, the three stickers on each of the canopies are entirely the wrong color. This would be disappointing, although minor if it were advertised as such on the box/promotional images, but it is not. The stickers are supposed to be white, but they are dark gray. I'm sure kids won't mind, however it's disappointing for older fans and collectors. I own both previous versions of the arc-170 LEGO has made in 2005 &amp; 2010. For a 15 year gap between sets, I was hoping for a bit more of an improvement over previous models. But check the box and look at the canopy stickers, then check your set, why on earth are the stickers gray when they should be white. As shown on the box! This is nothing but false advertising and poor quality/laziness. Only the best is good enough? That motto is completely gone for this set. This price, and this quality of prints and canopy stickers. (Yes, the prints are almost black when supposed to be dark red) we cant stand for this. And for kids buying this, to get those canopy stickers on must be a nightmare and are for sure to go wrong as its a 180 degree curve and even i as a lego builder my whole life had some trouble. For a play toy not caring about quality: Its......good. Excluding the canopy stickers i dont expect the any kid to do on their own. But lego. Stop showing things on the box. Then I got it in hand... There is some serious false advertisement going on here with the quality of the stickers. The stickers suffer from the same opacity issue as Commander Fox, so be warned, the product on the front of the box does not look like the product you'll end up with in hand. Lego has lost all ability to properly print anything.
