It takes about 2.5 hours to build both and its a very fun build. They are stunning pieces to display during this festive holiday. The colour tones were warming and festival. And the whole playing experience was amazing, as my 8 year old son and I built one model each. During the play, it was a good opportunity to explain some of the traditions to him, who is a British born Chinese. Overall I feel this set truly fulfilled its purpose of reuniting the family to enjoy the building experience over the traditional festival period. I disagreed with those trolling comments about the naming of the set. Lego has every right to name a set whatever they feel like to reflect its purpose of design. Ultimately Lego is only a toy, not a political/racial propaganda tool, and should be enjoyed by players worldwide. So are the traditional new year festivities that people from every corner of the world are entitled to enjoy regardless of how they name or celebrate it. Lego did not trademark its name as &ldquo;Danish Lego&rdquo;, why should its model that reflect certain new year traditions be trademarked exclusively &ldquo;Chinese&rdquo;, when other oriental/SE Asian countries and ethnic Chinese people elsewhere celebrate too?
