<span itemprop="description">I’m half Chinese and half Vietnamese and I’m really glad the set is called Lunar New Year to be more inclusive of the holiday for other Asian ethnicities that celebrate and not just Chinese. The Chinese characters on the display itself don’t bother me. I can’t read Chinese so I don’t even know what it says so it’s just like decor to me.
I don’t understand why people would give this amazing set 1 star review just because of its name. There are so many more elements to this set than just the name. So here I am writing a review because I truly think this set deserves more than one star.
The build itself wasn’t difficult. Took me about 1.5 hours per display and I was doing it while watching tv. My favourite part to build was the peony. The colours are nice and it was nice to see it come together. It’s a perfect size on the display. I would have preferred if the gold ingots and the other gold pieces to be a more golden yellow colour as opposed to this dull gold colour though.
Overall I really love the designs and everything they included from the koi fish to the peony to the gold ingots to the red pockets (especially love the details on the red pockets and glad it’s a printed piece and not stickers. Just wonderful details this set has. Would definitely recommend this to a friend who wants some display for New Year.

This set is so fun and I love just looking at all the colors, the lotus is amazing and even the koi are pretty cool! If you don't have this, get it before it's gone! PS I would call this a relatively simple build but still super fun watching it all come together!</span>
