It was all going fine until assembling the bottom part of the typewriter. It was extremely flimsy and would not connect well. Later, while attaching other parts the entire bottom fell apart and was impossible to put back together. Other parts such as the front piece under the space bar and other parts that are under the space bar were continuously falling apart. Ultimately, building this set brought me to tears and made me want to stop building legos entirely.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-12-23</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-12-23" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1176848516"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Ms.HarmlessSnake103</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Missing pieces</span> <span itemprop="description">My set was missing all the letters except the top row. The build was suitably lengthy, I spent quite a few hours putting it all together and enjoyed the build. There are lots of interesting techniques, plenty of complex technic elements and system pieces. None of it is flakey or delicate, with the sole exception of the carriage turn lever which is there for show and meant break away easily if pushed. The notepad it comes with was great, the kids have liked &lsquo;typing&rsquo; in lots of different languages. For someone who likes writing and works all day at a keyboard, this makes me nostalgic for something I&rsquo;m too young to remember, but enjoy immensely anyway. The library had one when I was little, even though there was a computer at home. Prior to this, the longest I&rsquo;d spent with a typewriter was at Shakespeare and Company in Paris&rsquo; Latin Quarter or a rainy winters day. No idea what I wrote, I left it behind pinned to the board. This is going to be on a low shelf, where little hands can reach it and feel the clicky clack of an old typewriter and get excited about times not too long gone.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-11-28</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-11-28" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1174969903"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Scottmatalevich</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Christmas 2024</span> <span itemprop="description">Waiting to suprise wife since she always buys Lego&rsquo;s for me!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-11-13</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-11-13" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1174713569"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Jodi</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Jodi</span> <span itemprop="description">I buy most of my sets for an investment, either for my three Grandsons or myself.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-11-10</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-11-10" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1174178716"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">James</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Soon to be an antique</span> <span itemprop="description">Wow, this was most difficult for me.
