<span itemprop="description">This set really brought me back to the 90's and 2000's pirate themes. I missed out on classics like "Black Seas Barracuda" and "Skull's Eye Schooner" so this is my next best thing.
The build was fun and detailed. Really enjoying the firing canons (something else I missed as a child) and having some pirates to add to my minifigure collection.
My only gripe with this set is the use of brick built pieces over the classic shark and parrot elements. Personally, this set would have been that much better with those elements added. Cloth sails would have been a nice touch as well; having seen some pictures of folks using retro sails, I would have loved to see them over brick built.</span>
