My first thought was OMG sand in my house! But after watching my 2 boys, ages 5&amp;7 playing with the kenetic sand I have to say the mess and clean up was a breeze. The sand sticks together creating easier clean up. Both boys can play with this for hours if I would let them. They are able to create many things and the best part is that it keeps very well. We have used the same sand for over 10 plays and it is still like brand new! It came with everything they needed to play with it for hours and not get bored. The sandbox is a great way to play with the sand and also store it for later since it never dries out (huge bonus!). The tools that came with the set were also great because you can use them as shovels and as molds to make shapes out of the sand. I would definitely buy more of these sets in the future as a variety for my kids to mix and match. This would be a great gift to purchase for birthdays, holidays or parties as well. It doesnt dry out like play dough and is moldable also. The package came with a big tray to put it in to keep it contained and there was enough sand for both of my daughters to play.
