There's an app that is available with this series of toys that is fun for kids to "collect" by scanning the QR code from the pull out chip on the back of the Parasaurolophus. Even if the child hasn't seen the cartoon show that the dino was taken from any child would love a dino that lights up and makes roaring sound.</span>

My daughter was so excited for this, she had it opened before I could get packaging pictures. Well made, as usual. Forearms move laterally in addition to fore and aft. The mouth even opens, but looks kind of odd. Guessing it’s supposed to look like large molars in the back? The action is neat, but I am not sure why a dinosaur needs to light up/glow red in the torso. Is it supposed to breathe fire like a dragon? Kind of looks like that is what is about to happen. I guess maybe you have to see the show it is based on. I have never found a point to the scanning “chips”, but I am sure some kids enjoy it. I don’t need another screen attraction for my kids. The only flaw I have really noted is it does not stand up well on its back legs; a forearm needs to be down to stop it from toppling over. I have always loved how detailed these dinosaur toys are from the Jurassic World/Park movies/shows. I am not sure they are exactly to scale, but seem like they would be. Definitely, a fun piece for any dinosaur enthusiast, whether kid or adult.</span>

They have other dinosaurs that make noise so to be able to add to those was fun for them. They take all of the dinosaurs and play together. When we first got the toy my boys wouldn’t stop pressing the button to make the dinosaur roar. They love it. It’s a great size and like I said goes well with their other toys. It’s also good quality. The plastic doesn’t feel cheap & it feels sturdy. My boys are rough on things and this toy has gotten plenty of play in it already and it’s held up well.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jurassic World Chaos Theory Parasaurolophus seems to be built well. It seems like it will hold up to many hours of play fighting with other dinosaurs which is one of my 4 year old son’s favorite things to do! He especially loves that it’s from the Netflix series as he watches it over and over again!
The dinosaur is sturdy though it can be difficult to place the dinosaur in a standing position which can be frustrating for young toddlers. When the button on the dinosaur’s back is pushed the dinosaur glows red and makes 1 of 3 different roaring sounds. My 4 year old thinks the glow feature is the coolest. He likes to take it to the laundry room with the door shut to watch it glow even better. My son especially likes that the mouth can be opened or closed and he doesn’t mind having to manually do that.
As a parent I really like this toy but as with most noise making toys I wish there was an off button or at least volume control. All in all it’s a quality toy that I would purchase and recommend to other dinosaur toy lovers. Even my 8 year old plays with it!</span>
