The sounds it makes aren't too loud or annoying. Being the mother of a boy who is not gentle with his toys, this one seems like it was built to last. My little guy really loves the realistic dinosaur sounds&mdash;which as super easy to activate&mdash;and this feature helps keep his interest in playing with it longer. His only complaint is the sound is too loud. It is made of quality materials and feels like it will hold up to lots of play. He thought it was really lifelike. The noises it makes holds his interest. He was even showing it to his uncle on the phone. We wish that the hard plastic maybe had some sort of softness on the outside. To make it more lifelike. It's easy to activate the sound on it, and he loves using it to stomp and destroy his other toys. He's been extremely rough with it already and I was worried the tail might come off, but nothing he's done (thus far) has broken it, so that's always a plus! Although they aren't dinosaur obsessed like some, they still played with this a fair amount. The noises are fun without being obnoxious or incredibly loud like most toys. They like that you can use the tail to move it's head. If it was able to walk on it's own they would enjoy it even more. I love this dinosaur the detail on the sinoceratops is amazing and the colors are spot on the sound it makes is unique it doesn&rsquo;t sound like the rest of the dinosaurs which is great. My son and I enjoyed playing with this dinosaur he battled with Godzilla, Godzilla threw him a few times and as a mom it was refreshing to see that the dinosaur didn&rsquo;t brake it held up and now it&rsquo;s my son&rsquo;s favorite dino.
