It was very easy and fun to build. My son loves the design and feel of the building structures as they were very detailed and well built. He also enjoyed playing with the dinosaur figures in these worlds. The dinosaurs are a little small but good enough for their age. I like that you can connect it with other set. This playset was great for moving the dinosaurs around a playset, however we did have issues with the intended usage. The T-Rex sits on a little disc that is launched into the wall to release the trapped dinosaur in the gray building. The T-Rex would fall off the disc every time it hit the wall. We also had some trouble getting the gray building to close. There was a special way we had to close one side and hold it down while closing the other. It was tricky sometimes for me to do, so my 5yr old definitely had trouble with this. He just used this playset as a place to play with his dinosaurs since he couldn't get it to work right. The setup was super easy and they make other sets that can interconnect with this one to make it bigger. Even though we had some issues, I would still buy the other sets to connect to this one.
