The set in general is pretty small so definitely wouldn't recommend for kids that might put the items in their mouths but other than that it was a perfect set in my younger son's eyes. In his exact words "This set is AWESOME! " If you have a kiddo that loves playing pretend with little figurines and is a fan of Jurassic Park, this is a good choice.
