I even had some issues transforming it, if you don&rsquo;t put the tail and head into the body in the right order the back/belly won&rsquo;t shut. I do like that it&rsquo;s 2 Dinosaurs in one, it&rsquo;s small, so it&rsquo;s easily packable(my son likes to take it with when we go to restaurants as it keeps him occupied while waiting for his food). It's fun that one is more &quot;scary&quot; and carnivorous looking and the other is more of a friendly herbivore, which allows for more varied imaginative play. The plastic and moving parts seem good quality and should withstand the dangers of young children's adventures. The size was good for small hands to grip easily, not too big or heavy. The shape shifting was a bit difficult to figure out at first, and my older kids complained that the feet and upper arms looked &quot;wrong&quot; and &quot;backwards&quot;, but I can imagine the design on this one was challenging and it's a minor detail that most kids wouldn't care about. The reality left a lot to be desired. This had so many steps that it was confusing to follow. A QR code to a video would have helped but kids are anxious to start playing. Neither of us could fully figure out how to properly transform this Dino so it sits around looking like a cross between a Dino and an ape. I started looking at the directions but my son&rsquo;s Pap noticed the dinosaurs back opens up and he started moving the tail that were tucked down. He and my son opened the belly and rotated the head underneath and quickly transformed the Baryonyx to a Parasoralophous! I was a little worried about teaching a 3 year old the 11 step transformation, but she learned in after I showed her twice. Transforming the Dino is simple and if the body doesn&rsquo;t open my daughter just pulls on the legs and arms to get them out of the way and it opens right up for the transformation. My daughter loves the fact that the Baryonyx&rsquo;s mouth opens to show its big teeth. She also loves that it has the big claws and enjoys telling everyone the teeth and claws are how you know it&rsquo;s dangerous. I love the contrast between having a carnivore and an herbivore in one transforming toy. My son is obsessed with dinosaurs and was so excited to get this. It&rsquo;s a good size for his hands and he has no problems transforming it by himself. I tried it out first and had to follow the directions that were included. They were easy to follow with the pictures. There&rsquo;s also a QR code on the package that takes you to a video of it transforming, which is also helpful. My son, on the other hand, figured it out right away without any instructions. Go figure, lol.
