The sound is realistic and is activated when he pushes for any of the movements. The color and detail is amazing and is the perfect weight and size for small hands. The wings are well made and durable for action packed playing. They love all things Jurassic Park! They have enjoyed recreating scenes and the fact that those are interactive. He loves that it makes sounds and that he can make the wings flap. The mouth open and gings are moveable which he says help the pteranodon to dive bomb his other dino's lol. This toy is made out of hard plastic and fits well into his little hands. It is built well and is durable, it will definitely stand the test of time and a rough and tough 4 yr old.
