It perfect for small children. My Grandson is 6 years old and he wasn't that interested until he had one of his larger dinosaurs eat to..lol I would say that this be good for 3 or 4 year old. The kids were excited and filled with suspense wondering which one they were going to get. Had to use scissors to open the package, it does not have a perforation for easy opening.
