He stayed engaged for quite a long time for it just being a car set. He did eventually ask for the track that goes with the set but we were happy to oblige as he really seemed to enjoy them. I really enjoy the exaggerated, cartoony style; however, that is out-of-the-ordinary for Hot Wheels. The detail is great, they roll around like regular Hot Wheels. Note that the cartoonish heads and irregular balance might keep them from rolling through track sets normally. My 7 year old was so excited when they arrived. They are a good size for little hands and squared so they are easy to hang onto. The details on the dinosaurs are amazing. They match the details in the movies. Owen is adorable driving his jurassic jeep.
