The cups and lids are sturdy solid wood, as well as the cookies, spoon, and sugar and creamer cylinders. It would be nice to see the cylinders with a label of some kind. The cups sleeves are also a nice realistic touch, and so is the base it all sits in- however taking the cookies in and out have caused the base to rip. The cups were pleasantly colored, the treats were super cute and the cup holder was a nice touch, my biggest complaint is that I wish the cup holder wasn&rsquo;t made of cardboard as it&rsquo;s a little flimsy and I wish there was another type of more realistic coffee house inspired treat other than the marshmallows. I love the quality of all the wooden toy pieces as well as the quality of the cardboard coffee cup sleeves. So far this set has made a great addition for our children when playing pretend. The only disappointment with this set is the quality of the cardboard drink and cookie carrier. I love that the cups and tops are wooden so that they will last a long time. The cookies are well made, too. My son loves to pretend to serve coffee to everyone and adding the pretend marshmallows to the cups. He loves using the wooden mixing spoon to get everything all stirred up. I do wish the carrier tray was wooden instead of cardboard. It is way too easy for the kids to accidentally rip the tray when trying to put the cups in or out.
