It doesn't seem as soft as i expected but the ears are soft. It has 4 different music and vibration settings with volume control. The vibration is loud enough to hear which is nice for the little little babies. It plays for 10 minutes and its portable. Its small enough for little hands to handle but not too small so it gets lost. My favorite thing is that its washable when you remove the little box inside. This is a great toy to have to use for tummy time and help develop sensory skills.
