The younger boys liked putting the boy into bed after roasting his marshmallow. The older boy thought it was funny that it had a fire but could o understand why the marshmallows could not come off. I personally liked that most of the pieces aside from the marshmallow stick &amp; figure for the interactive play stayed in place. I would like to see a bigger campsite branch off this mini set. There isn't much to do with the person and the building/camping area it comes with. The little people can not even hold the marshmallow on the stick that it comes with. I think it would have held his attention more if it could do more then it does. the sounds from the fire are neat but also didn't grab his attention. I appreciate the small motif in the back of the package that adds to the toy&rsquo;s playability . Not frustrating at all for an adult to remove from the package. Build Quality: Well-built and made from high-quality plastics, this toy feels of substance in both adult and little hands. The camp fire lights up and plays various &ldquo;camp&rdquo; sounds, e.g., guitar strums, songs, and a roasting fire. The light in the fire is clear and bright, and the sounds are crisp with none of that old school muffling that would plague the older Little People toys. During play, none of the corners, seams or compartments creaked or move unintentionally, build quality is top notch. Play: This toy is made for boys and girls ages 3-5, today&rsquo;s tester is my 3 year old; she absolutely loves the toy. There are multiple dimensions of play with the A-Frame cabin, the Little People figure can go to sleep in the cabin, sing songs by the campfire, or roast marshmallows. A great advantage to this toy is it is ambiguous enough in its purpose that the toy can be utilized for play across different games or purposes; example, the A-Frame cabin was neighbor to the Barbie house for a time and now the dolls were out camping, another time the A-Frame cabin was added to the train set and became a house en route to grandma&rsquo;s house. This toy can fit into any type of play with the family. Another benefit, no sharp corners with this toy, very fitting for this age range. Consideration: Only one con to call out, the battery compartment is secured with two large screws. I believe this is packaged with long-lasting batteries, but just be aware, have the screwdriver ready if you need to change them. Conclusion: I highly recommend this toy for age segment 3-5 for both boys and girls.
