The remote is easy to use, my grandson was driving it in no time. It's really fun to play with. It's easy to remove from the packaging, plug in the attached charging cord, and you're really to go shortly. The car was play ready out of the box as it came charged. The car charges via USB and the remote control runs off AA batteries which are included. No complaints out of them, but the car run time doesn't seem to be all that great to me, as I notice the boys seem to be recharging the car after 10-15 minutes, but seems to recharge enough for them to continue play pretty quickly, a full charge takes about 90 minutes. Both the remote and car do have a on/off switch which helps preserve battery life when play time is done for the day. The remote control is easy for them to operate and maneuver the car, there is also a turbo boost button. The car design is super cool looking and is made from lightweight plastic. My boys have put this car to the test by running into and around obstacles and it has held up great without any issues. It is very easy to control and fast especially with the nitro buttton for it's size. The turns are perfect and sharp. It doesn't get stuck easily like other cars. I love that you charge the car and you don't have to mess with changing batteries on it. The control does require batteries but it's much easier to change batteries on the control than if it were on the actual car. Easy to control and drive.
