The doll has reddish hair like her and is very sturdy. I&rsquo;m glad the doll is very flexible as my daughter is rough with her. Clothes on the dolls are good quality. Lovely thing for any Disney fan to have. We had not seen the movie before getting the doll, but we did as shortly thereafter. She got a kick out of being able to hold in her hands the princess that was on the TV. The Merida doll is sturdy, with a detailed molded bodice and shirt sleeves. My oldest daughter loves the glitter in the bodice. The doll's skirt and shoes are removable. I really like that there are very few small pieces to lose. I wish that the doll had bendable joints (particularly knees). It's hard to reenact scenes from the movie when the doll movements are so limited. Also, like any doll with long hair, it is challenging to keep her hair in good condition with small children. My 4 year LOVES the movie so was very excited for the Princess Merida doll to arrive! The doll looks just the character in the movie, with her beautiful long red hair!
