We love the shape design with the scalloped shape features in both the tail and top to look more realistic. The layered tulle for the fins and edges gives such a fun frilly appearance as well. Our combined favorite aesthetic feature in this specific dress is by far the glittery flounder and shell print featured all across the tail area of the dress. Most of the stitching through this dress is done pretty durably well; however, after some good play and just a couple weeks we did have to resew one of the straps back on and snip some fraying threads and tie them back up near the very top back area where the two halves meet with Velcro. The interior is really soft and doesn't bother the children at all. The exterior is a little rough feeling as there are a lot of fun sequins, tulle, and glittery designs. Overall, we love the dress and this one has a lot of unique aesthetic appeal that stands out!
