Once we got the battery in, my 10 year old was able to explore and create on her own without any guidance from me. It comes with everything you need except for the battery- spin art toy, paper designs (you can also use your own paper), 3d glasses, paint. I am a little concerned that it might not hold up super long time as the plastic is really light and thin. And the screw stripped when I took it out to put in the battery. My seven year old is really enjoying making the spin art. There&rsquo;s no assembly required, just a C battery. It&rsquo;s easy to use and doesn&rsquo;t make much mess. The paint only collects around the tray, but it&rsquo;s easy to clean. There are plenty of templates to paint on. And a good supply of paint. The finished artwork is cute and seeing it in 3D, with the included 3D glasses, is cool. He didn&rsquo;t want to stop making art in an innovative way! It really caught his attention and he even was saying &ldquo; let&rsquo;s do science.&rdquo; Even though the game says for 6 years old, I believe it could be great for 4 years old and up! It was easy to clean up and put away! You are able to create cards, which it is a plus as a do it yourself option as well. I was also entertained with this art game and spent more than an hour playing with my son. I truly recommend this as a different option of game while creating art. It really helps kids to develop their motor skills and creativity. The price is worth it!
