As usual, once I open the package and see what it is, I presented it to my nephews. The younger one (5 years old) had no interest, which surprised me given his fascination with Sonic and speed. The older one (8 years old) seemed mildly entertained by attaching the lightning bolt. He messed around with it for a little bit, and then it disappeared into the ethos. Neither child seemed entertained by the toy, or disappointed when it disappeared. And honestly I was expecting more. It just felt cheap, having boys you learn to buy figurines that are going to last and this doesnt seem like it will. It doesnt even stand up without major concentration and patience. The small pieces that Batman holds fall out of his hands very easily. The details on Batman himself are really nice and doesnt look cheap. I think this would be great as a collectors toy but not a very practical toy. I would probably use this toy, as a collectible. I would probably put it up on the shelf and leave it as that but my kids love the fact they can wrap their hands around such a small toy to play with so it doesnt matter what you do with the toy its still a fun item to have. If you are a fan of the DC comics then this action figure would be a perfect addition to your collection. It is a nice size for an action figure. I was surprised by the amount of detail on such a small body. It is a bit of on the creepier side but if you look at the comic book version of it to the action figure itself it looks a bit more tame. I LOVED the fact that this Supergirl was realistically proportioned and not overly sexualized looking like most female super heroes. She looks like she was designed based on a real, strong, human female body and I think this is GREAT for young girls to see. My daughter loved playing with Supergirl, but it was a little difficult with her tiny hands because she is only 6. Supergirl came with two small accessories- a piece of kryptonite and a laser-eye attachment. It was difficult for her to get the laser attachement on and off by herself and for it to stay in place. I was not impressed with the quality of the paint work on the figure. It came with lumps and chunks on the chest area of the outfit and scratches on the face. The hands were also painted very poorly. The paint job was just messy overall. It looks like there are green streaks in her hair which the film character doesn't have. Overall, I think if the paint issue could be improved before release this would be a great toy for an older girl. My son didn't really want to open it as he was worried that he will loose the little parts that come with the Flash toy. The fact that's the box say it's for 3+ years of age I think is too low. This is too small and for sure will be a chocking hazard for your kids. I like how the characters arms and legs bend and move around, but I can feel it might break quickly. Definitely a great toy for any DC fan. My almost four year old really liked making up stories about the fight of good vs evil and saving the day with Batman against Dark Flash. Personally I would have like better accessories or weapons. The little boomerang thing did not clip into his hand easily and didnt want to stay.
