The instructions are vague, the hardware is cheap and difficult to work with (screws strip instantly) and I think the CNC machine might need to be calibrated because everything is just off. I will not be buying from this manufacturer in the future. Beware if you have a little climber</span> <span itemprop="description">I've had this item for a few months now. Love it. Assembly was easy enough with one person (me). Couldn't say for sure how long it took, but I do put together two pieces over the course of tea and a visit from my mother in law so it couldn't have been too long. I expect it to hold up easily with one child. If there's ever a second child in my future I do expect it to start looking a little worse for wear. Some of our trailer board books don't fit standing up in the cubbies, which is a shame (though he tears them out as soon as I put them away so it isn't a big deal). I wouldn't say that's a negative, but it is something to be aware of. The cushion is here in place with velcro. So far my son has ripped it partially of but has always out it back in place (I suspect to tear it off again). He also desperately wants to climb the edges.
